No. JobRef is built around voice notes and photos — talk while you work and JobRef turns it into a readable write-up later.
What if I don't have signal on site?
Photos and captions can be saved on your device when reception is poor and sync automatically when you're back online. Voice logs need a connection while you record and transcribe, so plan voice notes when you have signal or catch up once you're back in range.
Is this just for one trade?
No — JobRef is built for any solo tradie or small crew who spends most of their day on site rather than at a desk.
What happens to my job records if I stop paying?
While your account is active, you can access your job records in JobRef. If you cancel or downgrade, paid limits may apply to storage, voice logs, or generation — export or copy anything you need before changing plans. You can also request deletion or a copy of your data under our Privacy Policy.
Can my clients see this without creating an account?
Yes — job evidence is shared through a simple link. Clients don't need to sign up or log in to view it.
How is this different from just using my phone's camera and notes app?
Your camera roll and notes app don't know which photos belong to which job, don't turn voice notes into write-ups, and don't let you share a clean link with a client. JobRef keeps job evidence separate from your personal photos and does the organising for you.
