These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JobRef, including our website, dashboard, capture tools, job documentation workflows, and share-link features (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You must not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in a way that infringes another person's rights.
Most product features require an account. You must provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, and are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. Where enabled, multi-user access and account administration are controlled through the account and billing features we provide.
You retain responsibility for the content you upload, create, or share through JobRef, including captures, media, captions, client information, tags, and share-link content. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content with the Service.
JobRef may allow you to generate public share links for job records. Anyone with an active share-link URL may be able to view the content made available through that link. You are responsible for deciding what you share and for rotating or disabling links when access should end.
Some features are provided under paid plans. Pricing, storage allowances, seat limits, and feature availability may vary by plan and may change over time. Team functionality requires the applicable team plan. If you purchase a paid subscription, you authorize the applicable billing provider to charge the fees and taxes associated with your selected plan.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. That policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information related to accounts, captures, uploaded files, share links, billing, support enquiries, and service operations.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by Kori Jacobsen or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you. Except as allowed by law, you must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service.
You agree not to:
Use the Service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, networks, or infrastructure.
Upload malware, malicious code, or content intended to disrupt the Service.
Circumvent account, billing, storage, access, or security controls.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the Service in a way that threatens its integrity or other users.
We may update, improve, replace, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We may also change pricing, plan limits, or feature availability. We will aim to give reasonable notice where required or where the change materially affects active paid use.
The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or that the Service will be free from defects, delay, data loss, or security incidents.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or relating to the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
